Community Engagement.
At Launch Digital, we strongly believe in the power of community engagement and are dedicated to creating positive impacts in the areas we serve. We actively collaborate with local organisations to provide children with valuable opportunities in sports and recreation. Through partnerships with Ayr Rugby Club Trust and Whitletts Vics, we support initiatives that foster inclusivity and promote physical activity among young individuals.
Furthermore, we are proud to work closely with Launch Foods charity and Unity Grill social enterprise to address food insecurity. Together, we provide nutritious meals and support underprivileged children in Ayrshire and Glasgow, ensuring they have access to healthy food options. Additionally, we actively participate in community events such as Tamfest, the Tam O’Shanter Halloween festival in Ayr. By bringing communities together, we celebrate local traditions and strengthen social bonds. These community engagement efforts are integral to our mission and reflect our commitment to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Sustainable Practices.
At Launch Digital, we are committed to sustainability and minimising our environmental impact for a purpose led economy. We have implemented various sustainable practices to ensure a greener future. For instance, we proudly operate a Renault Twizy electric vehicle as part of our transportation fleet, reducing carbon emissions and promoting clean energy. In our day-to-day operations, we prioritise paperless practices by utilising Xero cloud accounting software, minimising the need for physical paperwork and reducing deforestation.
Additionally, we actively choose green servers to host our websites, utilising renewable energy sources and minimising energy consumption. As an environmentally conscious business, we are proud to be a part of the One Earth purpose-led business platform, which brings together like-minded organisations committed to sustainable development and responsible practices. These sustainable initiatives not only align with our values but also contribute to a positive impact on the environment and society as a whole.
Volunteerism & Giving Back.
At Launch Digital, we are passionate about giving back to the community and actively engaging in volunteer work. Our Creative Director, Richard Longmuir, goes above and beyond by serving as a mentor for students at Glasgow Caledonian University. His dedication and expertise led him to become a lecturer at GCU, teaching the design for change module and inspiring future designers.
Additionally, our Managing Director, David Wilkinson, selflessly volunteers as a trustee for Ayr Rugby Club. He invests his time and efforts in promoting the club within the community, contributing to its growth and success. Both Richard and David also serve on the Ayrshire Chamber board of Directors, where they actively support and promote local businesses in the Ayrshire region. Furthermore, our Senior Designer, Darren Wilkinson, generously offers his skills and knowledge to V7 football. He actively participates in community football coaching, providing guidance and support to empower young players.
