Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Dundee & Angus is one of 21 regional DYW groups across Scotland. The organisation helps to implement the Scottish Government DYW strategy and the Young Person’s Guarantee, with the aim of helping young people get the right skills and experiences to move from education into employment, and to ensure that every young person has the chance of training, an apprenticeship or a job when they leave education.
DYW do this through various methods including; supporting industry links with education, preparing young people for the world of work, career inspiration activity, sector-specific programmes, industry-led teacher CLPL, events and campaigns.
Launch previously worked with DYW Dundee on their branding, the development of their website and a suite of marketing materials for online and offline communications, and in early 2021 DYW approached the team to discuss the development a new, updated, inspirational website, to improve their online, digital presence and brand awareness. Both teams worked closely together in order to create the best experience for users, and fully showcase the services, aims and values of the organisation, and how they can help young people connect with employers and education. The new website gives the organisation a new, modern look and will help to further engage with businesses and young people.
Support and communication has been ongoing with DYW to ensure the website is fully compliant and always maintained. Launch also provided training so that the DYWDA team were able to manage administration of the website.
