The Gavin Lawrie Group was founded in the 1950s as a quarrying and pre-cast concrete business. The Gavin Lawrie Surfacing Division started in 1972 under the direction of Gordon McKellar and is managed today by his son, Ewan.
The company is a specialist surfacing contractor with expertise in Tarmacadam, Resin Surfacing, Block Paving, Road Marking and all associated groundworks. Gavin Lawrie work with both domestic and commercial clients, and have an experienced team covering Glasgow, Ayrshire and Central Scotland, from their base in Monkton, Ayrshire.
Gavin Lawrie Surfacing recognised the need for a new, modern website as the previous site was out-dated. The company approached Launch and tasked the team with developing a new company website, which showcases the quality of services provided as well as various projects the company have carried out, to reflect the credibility and experience of the company. Launch designed and developed the new website to have a modern feel, with a strong identity, which in turn increased awareness of the company within the local area and beyond.
