Kays Curling have been manufacturing curling stones since 1851 and make the curling stones used at the Winter Olympics. Being recognised for producing the only stones used in competition by The World Curling Federation has helped Kays promote its brand onto the global market. However, this success was not the end for the company. Instead, it wanted to raise its share of the large, lucrative Canadian market. With this growth strategy in mind, Kays approached Launch to handle its international marketing.
The team at Launch got together with Kays Curling in order to create a strategic marketing plan to get the campaign up and running. It was decided that the company needed to create a new brand identity, alongside a creative website design. From this campaign, Kays Curling have penetrated their target market and vastly strengthened their brand awareness, which has led to a large increase in their enquiry levels.
