Launch Foods

Launch Foods is a charity based in Glasgow. The organisation focuses on maximising food surplus, by feeding kids in Glasgow with hot nutritious meals after their school day and during the holidays.

The charity distributes 300 healthy, after-school meals daily to kids in Glasgow, who might otherwise go hungry. Launch Foods provided more than 100,000 meals to children in 2019/2020, using surplus food from supermarkets and suppliers.

Launch Foods approached the team at Launch Digital to market their efforts to the wider audience online and to get more people involved with the initiative. Launch designed and developed a new website, and continue to provide all graphic design services including social media packages and window display stickers.

This promotion has helped Launch Foods partner with some of the largest food producers in the UK, including Highland Spring, Brakes, Tunnock’s, Braehead Foods and Simon Howie Butchers, ensuring they make the most of any surplus food. The organisation are also opening a coffee shop in Glasgow, with all profits going back into feeding the kids.
